The
Sale and District Greyhound Racing Club could aptly be described as “ the Club that grew”. From
humble beginnings with the first meeting being run on the 8
th February 1936 at a track adjacent to the present site the Club has grown to now be
recognized as one of the most progressive and best appointed Greyhound facilities in
Australia.
With
a focus of providing a complete Family Entertainment Package the newly rebuilt high standard racing
facility is complimented by First Class Club facilities including ;-
- A
modern Tabaret which provides comfortable lounge areas overlooking the track catering for both non
smokers and smokers. The relaxation areas provide Tea and Coffee facilities, Plasma TV,s, Keno and
TAB services all in air conditioned comfort.
- The
Temlee Sports Bar (recently expanded and refurbished ) overlooks the track and offers Club Tab, TAB
Sportsbet, Keno, 9 large plasma TV’s, Austar for all live Sports action, Read Ratings and the
coldest and cheapest beer in town.

CLUB Membership. Membership Subscription is $25 per year with no Joining Fee.
Application forms which must be approved by Committee are available by
contacting the Administration Office on 03 51 44 2148 Benefits of being a
Greyhound Club Member are having a say in the running of the Club, Discounted
trials, automatic Tabaret Membership and Invitation to VIP Members
Nights.
TABARET
Membership . Patrons can join as Gaming Members free of charge by inquiring at
the Tabaret cashier station. Benefits of Tabaret Membership are Loyalty Bonuses,
Entry into the Friday Night Members Draw and Promotional Discounts including
Petrol.
